day two of our trip starts with south iceland and would see us take in the famous golden circle comprising Þingvellir national park, geysir and gullfoss.

day three was filled with spectacular waterfalls seljalandsfoss and skogafoss followed by volcanic black sand beaches.

day four and the final day for south iceland was spectacular with glaciers and icebergs. starting with the spectacular drive towards skaftafell, part of the vatnajokull national park, we visited svartifoss waterfall. following that it was onto the truly spectacular fjallsarlon glacial lagoon and its bigger more dramatic neighbour jökulsárlón where we had a zodiac boat tour of the lagoon. finally a quick stop at diamond beach, where the icebergs wash ashore after the tide takes them to the ocean.
